Thank you for visiting this page to see my stance on key issues facing Minnesotans! This page will continue to develop throughout the year. If there’s ever an issue you want to know more about, please reach out to me!
Fight For Family Budgets
While families around the state are sitting around their kitchen table, trying to figure out how to make their budgets work in the face of record inflation, the government should be doing the same. It is more critical now than ever to fight for family budgets by pass meaningful tax relief, rein in wasteful spending, and opposing increases to the gas tax.
When it comes to your child’s education, you, the parent, should be in the driver’s seat. That’s why I strongly support school choice and curriculum transparency. Empowering parents also means making sure they have strong schools to send their children to, which is why I supported record funding for our schools, and invested in proven programs to ensure our children can read at grade level.
Support Our Farmers
Serving on key agricultural committees, I have fought hard for the needs of our farming community. From mental health supports to drought relief, I have listened to their stories and turned their needs into action. I will continue to advocate for our hardworking farmers in 2023.
Protect Our Seniors
COVID-19 shed a light on much-needed protections for our seniors, which is why I strongly support passing a patient’s bill of rights, guaranteeing a loved one can be with family during their times of need. We also must do more to ensure our seniors stay in Minnesota, which is why I voted in favor of permanently eliminating the state’s harmful tax on social security income.
Adhere to our Constitution
Our Constitution set the framework for limited government that cannot interfere with our God-given rights, including the right to life, and the right to protect ourselves. As your Senator I will not only protect the unborn and the Second Amendment, but will fight to stop unconstitutional government overreach.
Help Main Street Businesses Thrive
Minnesota can do so much more to be a business-friendly state. After Governor Walz’s harmful shutdowns, Main Street businesses are still struggling to recover. Through meaningful tax relief and the strategic elimination of burdensome regulations, we can help ensure Minnesota businesses stay here in Minnesota.
